Handmade Gifts – Winter Clay Night

Make something personal for someone you love - or create something special for yourself.

Join us for a cosy winter evening of clay, creativity and good company. In this beginner-friendly handbuilding workshop, you will create one medium-sized ceramic piece or up to two smaller pieces.

You could make a mug, jewellery dish, candle holder, incense holder, small vase, decorative plate, Christmas ornaments or your own unique idea. We will provide examples and inspiration while leaving plenty of room for your personal style.

During the workshop, you will learn simple handbuilding techniques and decorate your creations with colours, textures, stamps and seasonal details. No previous pottery experience is needed, we will guide you through the entire process.

After the workshop, your pieces will stay with us to dry. We will glaze and fire them for you, ready to be collected a few weeks later.

Come on your own, bring a friend or turn it into a creative date. The workshop is taught in German and English.

Collection

Your finished pieces will usually be ready approximately 2–3 weeks after the workshop. We will send you an email as soon as they are ready for collection. Please note for the final workshop on 2 December: Your finished pieces will be ready for collection by 20 December 2026. If this is too close to Christmas for you, we recommend booking one of the earlier workshop dates.

If you are making a holiday gift, we recommend choosing one of the earlier workshop dates. Pieces made during December sessions may not be ready before Christmas.

Someone else is welcome to collect your pieces for you. Shipping is also available for an additional fee. Please collect your work within two months after receiving our email.

Cancellation policy

• Up to 7 days before the workshop: full refund
• Less than 7 days before the workshop: no refund

If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to transfer your place to someone else.

If the minimum number of three participants is not reached, we will contact you to arrange an alternative date.
