Studio Belkisa is a pottery studio and creative community in the heart of Moabit, Berlin. It is a place where people can slow down, work with their hands, and connect with others through clay. Whether you are completely new to pottery or have years of experience, everyone is welcome.

The name Belkisa carries a very personal meaning. It is a tribute to my aunt, who once wished for me to carry this name. She is a warm, generous person who has always made people feel welcome. Her kindness, openness, and ability to bring people together continue to inspire the spirit of this studio. I hope Studio Belkisa reflects those same values — a place where people feel comfortable, supported, and at home.

My pottery journey began in 2017 with a single ceramics class. What started as a hobby quickly became a lifelong passion. Over the years, I have worked in different pottery studios, learning from various teachers and approaches. Handbuilding became my main focus, and I spent years developing and refining those skills. More recently, I challenged myself to learn wheel throwing, opening up a completely new side of ceramics for me.

For as long as I can remember, I dreamed of one day running my own studio. Not only as a place to make pottery, but as a place where people could gather, share ideas, learn from one another, and feel part of a creative community. With Studio Belkisa, that dream has become reality.

My vision is to create a welcoming neighbourhood space in Moabit where creativity, connection, and community come together. A place where people return not only for pottery, but also for the atmosphere, the conversations, and the feeling of belonging.
