Pottery Birthday Parties for Children
Celebrate your child’s birthday with clay, creativity and plenty of imagination.
During this private two hour pottery workshop, the children will learn simple handbuilding techniques and create their own ceramic cereal bowl. They can shape and decorate it with patterns, textures, stamps and their own personal details.
If there is enough time, they are also welcome to make a small figure or a second simple piece and explore their own creative ideas.
No previous pottery experience is needed. The celebration is suitable for children from the age of six and can be taught in German and English.
What to expect
We begin with a short and child friendly introduction to clay and show everyone how to build their own cereal bowl. The children will then have plenty of time to shape, decorate and personalise their creations.
After the celebration, the pieces remain at the studio to dry slowly. We will glaze and fire them twice so that every child receives a finished ceramic keepsake from this special day.
The finished pieces will usually be ready for collection after approximately four to six weeks. We will send you an email as soon as everything is ready.
Group size and accompanying adults
The birthday celebration is available for groups of up to nine children.
Up to two accompanying adults are very welcome to stay, join the creative experience and help the children with their creations. The ceramic pieces included in the package are reserved for the participating children.
Snacks and drinks
Water, juice, apples, grapes and biscuits are provided for the children.
You are also welcome to bring your own birthday cake and additional snacks. If you would like to decorate the studio for the celebration, you are welcome to arrive a little earlier. We can discuss your ideas and all practical details together in advance.
Please let us know beforehand about any allergies, intolerances or foods that should not be served.
Price
€300 for up to 6 children
€45 for each additional child
A maximum of nine children can participate.
The price includes the private two hour workshop, all clay and materials, the use of tools, glazing, both firings, drinks and snacks.
Each child will create and decorate one cereal bowl. If time allows, they can also make a small figure or a second simple piece.
